Petrina McGrath is the Director of Nursing at Toronto General Hospital of the University Health Network (UHN). She holds a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Saskatchewan and a Masters in Nursing from the University of Toronto. Petrina has held a number of nursing leadership roles throughout her nursing career including, Clinical Educator, Professional Practice Leaders, and Clinical Nurse Specialist all within the specialty of Oncology and Palliative Care. Throughout her career Petrina has been a committed champion and leader of patient centered care and has been involved in the implementation of patient centered care strategies and practices at two large academic organizations, in addition to presenting locally, nationally and internationally on the topic. Currently Petrina leads the PCC Implementation Strategy Team at University Health Network.
