
Jeanne Jabanoski

Jeanne Jabanoski is the Vice President of Integrated Medical Programs at the University Health Network (UHN). Her portfolio includes clinical services offered at all three UHN hospitals and is divided into three areas of emphasis: Complex Medical Care (Emergency Department, General Internal Medicine, Palliative Care and Seniors Initiatives); Chronic Disease Management, (Nephrology, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology and Respirology) and Community and Multicultural Health (Mental Health and Addictions, Family and Community Health, Spiritual Care, Infectious Diseases and Bioethics). Before coming to UHN, Jeanne held senior management positions in Toronto Public Health and the federal government. She has carried out research into the impact of environmental contaminants on human health, the interplay of media discourse and public policy, and social factors affecting the transmission and treatment of HIV/AIDS. She is currently completing a PhD in the Sociology of Health, focusing on the social and political context for the resurgence of tuberculosis in Toronto.
