This study is a randomized controlled trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Interferon Alfacon1 for the co-treatment of patients who are critically ill and hospitalized with influenza. The study team is leveraging BlackBerry technology to connect with real-time data to allow a rapid and coordinated response to the coming flu season.
