Dr. George Tomlinson is a biostatistician working at Toronto General
Hospital. He is an Associate Professor in the Dalla Lana School of Public
Health and in the Departments of Medicine, Medical Imaging and Health
Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. He completed his doctoral degree in biostatistics at the University of Toronto and currently teaches in the epidemiology, clinical epidemiology and biostatistics programs at the University of Toronto. He is an investigator in the Toronto Health Economics and Technology Assessment (THETA) Collaborative, an investigator in the Biostatistics Methodology Unit at the Hospital for Sick Children, a member of the Cochrane Collaboration Statistical Methods Group and an affiliate scientist in the Division of Clinical Decision Making and Health Care, Toronto General Hospital Research Institute. His research interests include applied Bayesian methods, statistical simulation methods, and meta-analysis.
